The “HOME” Collection

What does a “Home” mean to you? The idea of the word is simple enough to understand, yet when you lose your “Home” everything changes. You feel lost, empty and hopeless. I started to struggle with the definition when I knew my marriage was over. It had taken me years to feel comfortable in my ex wife’s home, so on that fateful day when I heard those words “I don’t love you anymore”…it crushed me. At that moment I knew My “Home” would change yet once again. After things began to unravel faster than I could take, I had to accept this new reality…to stay alive. This collection deals with the construct of what a home was to me throughout my life. From the house I grew up in to the apartment I had before my marriage. Even now the idea of a “Home” is not yet defined but hopefully some day…..it will be.
